I finished the course, and now I have a pretty good understanding of how to use Adobe Illustrator with a drawing pad. A while back I wanted to improve my drawing skills.

But I kept postponing. I had the very common challenge that you probably have had yourself when learning electronics:

I didn't have enough time!

Then one weekend I finally set aside some time. I blocked out 4 hours. And I sat down to go through an interesting course about using a drawing pad.

I finished it, and I ended up with a pretty good understanding of how to use Adobe Illustrator with a drawing pad.

It was really great because suddenly my skills in drawing had improved a lot. And it gave me a great feeling of accomplishment.

Just because I sat aside 4 hours on Sunday.

The only way to have time to do what you want is to set aside time for it.

Want to learn microcontrollers? PCB design? Basic electronics? Then you need to set aside time for it.

Without this, you won't learn electronics

One thing I'd like to learn (or to become better at) is: The practice of silencing my thoughts for a short period. Also called meditation. What does that have to do with electronics? It reduces stress and makes me more focused on the task at hand. So I can build more circuits, faster . At least in theory. ā€‹ The problem is that I don't practice it. So naturally, I don't get the benefit of it. I recently asked my former meditation teacher for advice. He asked me back: "What's holding you back?"
